Volunteer Information
Volunteering at the New England Region XI Study Abroad Reentry Conference is a great way to become involved in the local community of study abroad professionals!
We are currently in need of volunteers to lend a hand to the conference organizers, panelists, exhibitors and attendees at the New England Region XI Study Abroad Reentry Conference, which will take place on February 27, 2010 at the Photonics Center at Boston University.
Volunteer opportunities include assisting with registration, helping with site setup and break down, serving as a small group facilitator or panel time-keeper, guiding students to sessions, or directing exhibitors and panelists to appropriate locations.
Volunteers are needed from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Volunteers may choose to sign up for the morning shift (8:00am - 1:00pm) or the afternoon shift (12:00pm - 5:00pm), or volunteer their services all day. Morning volunteers should plan arrive at the conference location by 7:30am for a brief training and walk-through of the facilities.
Volunteers & facilitators will be provided with a New England Region XI Study Abroad Reentry Conference t-shirt to wear the day of the conference. Lunch will also be provided for all volunteers.
